Literature Text

A loud bang
A smoking gun
Blood litters the ground

A murder was hear
A crime to fear
Yet no body will be found

Death came swift
He got what he deserved
That’s what the murderer shall think

But judgment is swift
There was evidence missed
And soon the murderer was put in the clink

He rotted in jail
Died old and frail
Yet the body was never found

The family mourned
The killer was scorned
For the body that was lost in the ground

The jealousy of a brother
From the love of a mother
Was the culprit of this crime

They made him a grave
Sad goodbyes they gave
And his body was forgotten in time

A long time passed
And flags were amased
At the spot where his remnants was found

A memorial was made
At the site of the grave
A tribute to the unnamed soldier
Extremely different from my usual style, but my usual style didnt seem to fit. So i experimented a little and this is what I made.

In memorium to all the soldiers of this great nation who lost their lives defending it.

To the un-named soldier: rest peacefully friend, you served us well

when you say "this great nation" i'm assuming you mean america?

well, i shall say the same for every nation who has lost sons and daughters to the horror that is war. sadly though, there can be no peace with no war.
